Highline Electric Association, Poudre Valley Rural Electric Association, and Y-W Electric Association all participate in a program that provides financial rebates to rural customers who retrofit electric irrigation pump motors, replace fossil-fueled motors, or install new energy-efficient electric pump motors. The primary sponsor of this program is the Tri-State Generation and Transmission Association.

Rebates apply to the installation of a new motor from 10 to 200 horsepower and which is to operate for a minimum of three months each year. The rebate is offered at two levels, dependent upon the motor’s National Electric Manufacturers Association efficiency rating:

Rebate applications must be completed within 180 days of pump motor installation.
