Colorado Springs Utilities (CSU) offers its commercial and industrial customers
a range of valuable programs targeted at increasing the energy efficiency of
buildings, systems, and processes. Through the following programs, CSU’s
commercial and industrial customers can get the help and assistance they need to
increase their energy efficiency and save both energy and money.
Services offered include:
Retro-commissioning helps assure that your facility’s systems are working
together to fulfill your operational needs with minimal energy usage and costs.
An operations and maintenance review will fine-tune existing building
systems to both save energy and create a more comfortable, productive work
environment for employees and tenants.
CSU’s lighting audits and retrofits makes it easy to see how a lighting
retrofit can cut a facility’s operating costs and improve lighting quality at
the same time.
The Kilowatcher Rate Option allows customers with a yearly electrical
demand greater than 500 kW to purchase electricity at a lower rate during
on-peak hours.
Investment-Grade Audits provide you with detailed assessments of your
lighting, HVAC, water heating, building envelope, and other systems along with
recommendations that will enable you to cut your energy costs significantly
within an acceptable payback period.
Facility Improvements and Retrofits provides you with the design,
engineering, construction, and project management services you need to complete
energy efficiency projects identified through an energy audit or
retro-commissioning evaluation.
The Business Energy Profile is a free analysis tool that provides a
thorough breakdown of your company's energy use and also provides customized
recommendations for reducing your energy consumption and costs.
With CSU’s Energy Information Services you can investigate your
facility’s electric and gas use over the Internet, and spot energy use trends
that could be adjusted or find pieces of machinery that could be operated more
efficiently, saving money for your company.
