With the assistance of the Energy Foundation, the Wirth Chair at the University of Colorado-Denver coordinates the Colorado Business Energy Partnership (CBEP), with the goal of building improved energy management and carbon emission reduction initiatives throughout the state. The Partnership helps for-profit, non-profit, and public sector members develop money-saving strategies to boost energy efficiency and protect Colorado’s environment. The Partnership encourages companies to learn about the link between energy use and climate change, and fosters company awareness of the economic and market opportunities that exist in effective carbon emissions reduction strategies.
