General Information:

Ennovate Corporation is an independent energy service company headquartered and operating in Colorado since 1997. Ennovate’s principals and employees bring a wealth of ESCO experience to the company, having experience in over $150 million in energy projects for most every type of client and facility. A full-service provider, Ennovate manages projects from conception to implementation to maintenance and operation, ensuring that energy efficiency improvements meet the customers’ financial and performance goals.

AREAS OF FOCUS:
  • K-12 public schools
  • hospitals and healthcare facilities
  • municipal government buildings
  • industrial food processing facilities
AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION:
  • lighting retrofits & occupancy sensors
  • cogeneration
  • high-efficiency boilers, chillers, and rooftop units
  • GeoExchange
  • direct digital control systems
  • energy information systems

Recent projects:

Recent Colorado projects of note include lighting retrofits, high-efficiency boilers, instantaneous hot water heaters, energy metering, window upgrades, radiant gas heat, and new rooftop HVAC units for the Fort Morgan, Holly, and Stratton public schools; energy-efficient lighting, micro-turbine generators, high-efficiency boilers, pool covers, and direct digital controls for a Lifetime Fitness health club; and lighting retrofit, chiller replacement and upgrade, and system improvements for a Cabella’s retail store.

Use of savings guarantees:

Savings guarantees are incorporated into all Ennovate performance contracts. Contracts are typically ten years in length, though terms can be for any length desired by a client. Ennovate typically adds a three percent charge to guarantee 100% of the projected energy savings, and offers a no-charge contract to guarantee 85% of the calculated energy savings. To establish actual guaranteed energy savings, Ennovate includes an energy monitoring system with all of its guaranteed energy projects. This system monitors energy use remotely via the internet; it is not used for projects with annual energy savings of less than $2,000, due to impractical energy auditing costs.

Financing options:

Ennovate has access to many lending sources to fund projects at low interest rates, including bond funding, state construction grants, and lease-purchase agreements. Ennovate also works with third party financiers to fund energy savings projects at competitive rates.
