General Information:

Chason Energy is an HVAC consulting firm serving healthcare, telecommunications, multi-family residential, and commercial interests. Chason Energy specializes in installation of high-efficiency central cooling and heating plants, including thermal storage, and provides system design, installation, maintenance, and financing services. Chason Energy has been operating in Colorado since 2001.

AREAS OF FOCUS:
  • healthcare facilities
  • data centers
  • telecommunications facilities
  • commercial/office campuses
  • high-rise multi-family housing
AREAS OF SPECIALIZATION:
  • high-efficiency central cooling and heating plants
  • thermal storage

Recent projects:

Recent Colorado projects of note include a new chiller and cooling tower for the Holland House Condominiums, located in Denver, Colorado. As the client lacked the capital necessary to replace the building’s aged chiller, Chason Energy combined all construction and operating costs into a monthly payment schedule, allowing the project to be paid for over time with just a small increase to the home owners’ association dues.

Use of savings guarantees:

Chason Energy works with clients that are seeking an alternative to the guaranteed savings approach. Instead, Chason Energy guarantees the total purchase and operating costs of the new, more energy-efficient equipment, and demonstrates to customers how these improvements will improve cash flow. Customers are then invoiced only for the energy they use, giving them the freedom to operate the plant in any way they choose, without the operating constraints normally associated with a savings guarantee.

Financing options:

Chason Energy demonstrates to its customers that high-efficiency central plant HVAC systems will lower monthly building operating costs, and then assists them in obtaining the capital necessary to complete the project and overcome any additional first costs. The financing will typically take the form of a capital or operating lease, though other forms of financing are available.
